Do you work on _______?
Main focus is Rockshox and Fox. These two brands have support and documentation behind them. I Do work on other brands mainly with seat posts. I do work on other brands on a case by case basis but lead time generally will be longer. Best to contact me for that
-
How do i pay?
Payment will be done with a Square invoice, credit cards will be accepted here. In person I have a square chip/tap terminal.
-
How often should i service my suspension?
This varies with terrain and ride style. The manufacture intervals are a good starting point at every 50 hours and a full factory service every 125-200 hours. I can tailor your maintenance schedule and service level to get the most value between services. For aggressive(jumps, drops, high speed descents, or technical local trails) riders stick to the manufacturer’s recommend intervals.
-
Do you offer discounts?
Discounts will be offered to established bicycle shops. contact for details
-
What is your turn around time?
I generally try to keep the turn around to 1-3 business days. I want you back on your bike as fast as possible. Components with hard part damage will incur longer lead times to source parts. As the business grows I will have a deeper and expanded hard parts inventory.
-
Do you have a warranty?
60 day warranty on workmanship or o ring failure. Warranty does not cover external factors such as poor shock design or frame designs that put extra stress on the shock. Examples Float x2, strut mounted shocks, trunnion mount, rock shox 32mm chassis forks
-
Should i use suspension spray or stanchion lube products?
No. proper service intervals keep your fork and shock properly lubricated. clean the stanchions and wiper seal with a clean dry cloth. do not remove the oil film on the stanchion. forks and shocks in good condition will have a glossy oil coat when they are cycled.
-
Do you work on Specialized brains?
I am not working on Brain rear shocks at this time. If there is interest in brain shock work then I will consider tooling up for it. The other issue is older brain shock parts support is limited to the seal kit. Brain forks will be limited to air spring and 50hr service.
